Copywriter

POSITION CONCEPT
We are looking for an experienced copywriter with a focus on content strategy. Our preference is to start with the candidate on a contract basis, with the goal of advancing to full-time employment after a successful trial period.

The copywriter will plan and write content for campaigns to drive revenue and enhance the digital marketing efforts of our clients. This will involve generating ideas and composing creative and technical copy for a variety of digital marketing tactics. Must be able to gather research and direction from a mix of provided references, online sources and interviews with subject matter experts.

Will work closely with the Copy Editor to take on incoming assignments, manage client revisions and maintain quality control. Will collaborate with the Creative Director and Digital Marketing Director to continuously improve digital marketing capabilities and service to clients.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in creative copywriting and digital marketing strategy. Requires expert knowledge of SEO, paid search strategies, social media marketing, and the latest industry trends.
